(November 1, 2020) A hectic month of October for the Devin Gilpin Racing (DGR) team concluded on Saturday, October 31 with the 'Bluegrass Nationals' at Richmond Raceway in Richmond, Kentucky, which also wrapped up their 2020 campaign. The Ultimate Heart of America Series presided over the dirt-slinging action at the Richmond bullring and a $10,000 winner's check was on the line. Devin Gilpin secured a heat race triumph during preliminary action to earn an extra $500 and later started the 50-lap main event from the outside of the second row. Despite having a right rear tire going down in the waning laps, Devin held on to finish fourth in the contest behind only race winner Zack Dohm, Dustin Linville, and Scott James. Gilpin Wins Heat Race, but Breaks in $5,000 Fall 50
(October 25, 2020) Following a rain-out at Lake Cumberland (KY) Speedway, the #1G team wound up at Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky on Saturday evening, October 24. The annual running of the 'Fall 50' took place last night at the 1/2-mile oval and a $5,000 top prize was up for grabs. Devin Gilpin secured a heat race triumph during preliminary action and later started the 50-lapper from the pole position. Unfortunately, a broken 4-link rod eventually forced Devin to pull pitside in the unsanctioned feature and he was relegated to a disappointing nineteenth place showing. Devin Gilpin Steers to Third Place Podium Effort in Kokomo Klash
(October 18, 2020) Devin Gilpin Racing (DGR) trekked north to Kokomo Speedway in Kokomo, Indiana on Saturday night, October 17 for the annual running of the 'Kokomo Klash.' The unsanctioned Super Late Model battle paid out $2,020 to the winner. Devin Gilpin clicked off the fastest lap in his group during qualifying and later placed second in his heat race. After rolling off from the inside of the third row in the A-Main, Devin was able to drive up to third to finish on the podium behind only race winner Travis Stemler and runner-up Mike Spatola. (October 4, 2020) Devin Gilpin, of Columbus, Indiana, secured his fourth overall win of 2020 on Saturday evening, October 3 at Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana! Devin ran second in his heat race, but turned out to be the class of the field in the 'Championship Night' main event. He grabbed the top spot around the halfway mark of the weekly Super Late Model contest and stretched his lead until the checkered flag to record the $1,200 victory over Greg Johnson, Shelby Miles, Joe Godsey, and Austin Burns. Gilpin Enters 41st Annual Jackson 100 Weekend at Brownstown
(September 27, 2020) The Devin Gilpin Racing (DGR) team and driver Devin Gilpin were in action over the September 25-26 weekend with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana. On Friday night in the $10,000 to win weekend opener, Devin placed eighth in his loaded heat race, did not start his B-Main, and was unfortunately unable to advance into the 40-lapper. At Brownstown on Saturday evening, a $15,000 top prize was up for grabs in the 41st edition of the storied 'Jackson 100.' Devin ran eighth in his heat race and fourteenth in his B-Main, which once again kept him out of the 100-lap main event that was eventually won by Tim McCreadie. On Friday night in an unsanctioned tussle at Rockcastle Speedway in Mount Vernon, Kentucky, Devin Gilpin brought home a solid fifth place effort in the $4,000 to win affair. At Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, Kentucky on Saturday evening, a $10,022 top prize was on the line in the annual running of the 'Harold Hardgrove Memorial.' Devin Gilpin Bags $6,700 in Atomic Speedway Special!!!
(September 7, 2020) In the finale of a lucrative tripleheader weekend in the states of Kentucky and Ohio, Devin Gilpin recorded his third feature win of 2020 on Sunday night, September 6 at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio! Devin placed third in his heat race to earn the outside of the fourth row for the start of the unsanctioned main event. The Columbus, Indiana ace then inherited the point on lap 18 when leader Devin Moran pitted with a flat tire and then paced the field throughout the remainder of the contest. At the checkers, Devin was celebrating the $6,700 victory over Freddie Carpenter, Jared Hawkins, Andy Bond, and Devin Moran!

Earlier in the Labor Day holiday weekend, the #1G team entered a pair of $12,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series battles at Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky and Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio. Gilpin Enters $50,000 North/South 100 at Florence Speedway...
(August 16, 2020) The Devin Gilpin Racing (DGR) team made their way to the venerable Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky from August 13-15 for the annual running of the 'North/South 100.' Things kicked off for the #1G team on Thursday night with the 'North/South Shootout,' which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and boasted a $10,000 payday. Devin Gilpin unfortunately missed out on the 50-lap main event after running sixth in his stacked heat race and seventh in his B-Main.

At Florence on Friday evening, the first round of qualifying heat races were held before the second round was washed out by rain showers. Devin drew at the back of his heat race and passed two cars to make it up to the ninth finishing position. The team then opted to scratch from Saturday's second heat race and therefore did not transfer into the $50,000 to win 'North/South 100,' which was ultimately won by Tim McCreadie. Devin Gilpin Unfortunately Crashes Out of Contention in HoF Classic
(August 9, 2020) Devin Gilpin and the #1G team invaded the nearby Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana on Saturday evening, August 8 to compete in the annual running of the 'Hall of Fame Classic.' The unsanctioned Super Late Model contest drew 32 competitors to the fairgrounds oval to vie for the $10,000 top prize. Devin clicked off the second fastest lap in his group during the qualifying session before securing a victory in his loaded heat race. After starting third on the grid in the 50-lap main event, Devin ran all over the top five throughout the race and was racing hard up front when he was involved in a wreck on lap 43. The Columbus, Indiana ace wound up fifteenth in the final finishing order of the 'Hall of Fame Classic.' (July 5, 2020) Devin Gilpin and his #1G team celebrated in victory lane for the second time in 2020 on Saturday evening, July 4 at the nearby Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana! Devin laid down the quickest lap in his group during the qualifying session prior to securing a heat race triumph. After rolling off from the pole position in the unsanctioned 'Born Free 40,' Devin led each of the forty circuits around the 1/4-mile oval en route to capturing the $5,500 winner's check ahead of Nick Hoffman, Kent Robinson, Greg Johnson, and David Webb.

Devin Gilpin Makes First Trip to Magnolia for Clash at the Mag
(June 21, 2020) The annual running of the 'Clash at the Mag' was up next on the racing schedule for the #1G team from June 18-20, as a pair of $5,000 to win preliminary programs kicked off the tripleheader weekend at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi. Making his first trip to "The Mag," Devin Gilpin unfortunately failed to transfer into Thursday night's 25-lap opener, while he ran fourth in his loaded heat race, won his B-Main, and finished twenty-second in the 25-lapper on Friday evening. Devin and the team then decided they started too far back in Saturday's consolation event and opted to forego the remainder of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series program; therefore, missing out on the $15,000 to win, 100-lap 'Clash at the Mag.'
